How To Buy Foreclosed Homes For Sale

Hi, our house is in foreclosure, and we know we have to give it up. (I lost my job-husb laid off) It is scheduled for sheriff sale on December 2, and we are wondering how long after that until we get the 10 day notice to move? What is the timeframe on paperwork that must be done first (deed,etc)? Bad timing, because either way it will right before or right after Christmas. We live in Lucas County in Ohio.

My husband has been relocated to the South to work. We found a house that we would like to purchase, however, we have a house in Ohio that is currently in foreclosure. We also are closing on another house and will be able to get our home out of foreclosure and give us a down payment for the home in the South. Will we be able to get a loan, since we will have the foreclosure mark on our credit? We had never made any house payments late until now.

My husband and I own two properties one that we have owned since 2004 and one we just purchased last December. We have had the older one on the market for 8 months with no bites. I think we now owe more than it is worth. It was worth 0K when we bought it and now houses in our neighborhood are selling for K-K, we owe 0K. My question is if we end up having to foreclose on the older property (my husband’s hours have been cut dramatically), can they take our our other property that is now our main residence? Also, can they garnish our wages? Thanks for any help you can give us.

today we got a pink slip on our door saying to contact someone about our house to work something out. we called but the office was closed. what are the next steps if we want to save our home? how far into the foreclosure process are they or has it even began? thanks.

If i quit claim the deed to my other property which is in MINE AND MY COMMON LAW WIFES NAME will the bank come after my other property if i quit claim the deed to her name only. And what are the chances of this happening in ohio.

Does anyone know where I can find information on foreclosure home auction in Columbus Area , Ohio is it usually in the paper or do in need to go to a government website?
