Can My Partnership Be At Risk If I Have A Property Going Into Foreclosure?
I have a house in Nevada and it is going into a foreclosure. I am concerned that the L.P. property that I have in my partnership might be at risk. Can I get sued for my properties in my partnership?
It depends on how the deed on the partnership property and the partnership terms are written up. Some can be affected by your personal situation, some cannot. Look carefully at the terms on both and see a lawyer.
