i brought a home at a foreclosure sell in florida 3 months ago, i have a buyer now, what are the guide lines on how much profit i can make.

My boyfriend’s mom is a real estate agent. She has listings that the general public does not have and all of that…so he put a bid on a bank owned house. It has been three weeks and he has not heard anything from the bank. After one week, the bank lowered the price of the house to LESS than he had offerred. (He bid $111,000.00 with 5000.00 cash back to fix the roof that caved in. They then lowered it to 109,000.00 without responding to his offer.)
Why is it taking the bank so long to get back to him? He extended his offer by another two weeks which will be up by the end of this week. He has immaculate credit and is a first time home buyer. What should he do? His Mom doesn’t seem to have a lot of experience with bank owned homes and the agent working for the bank is not always reachable.

I search the web to find foreclosure listings. All I end up with is a bunch of sites that want to charge you for a list. So my question is does anyone know of any web sites where someone can get a foreclosure list without having to pay to get it. Thanks All!!

I own an investment property in Florida although I live in California. Like so many other homeowners, the market has left my investment upside-down. I have not made a payments now for 4+ months. I’m pursuing a short-sale on this property. In fact, I just received an offer. Well, I was served legal papers (Lis Pendens) a couple of days ago and have 20 calendars days to issue my response to the Court. Only a day later I completed and submitted all financial documents & hardship letter (105 pages) to the lender for their consideration of the short sale or other options (i.e., Deed In Lieu or loan modification to current value of home).
The Lis Pendens states that “Your written response, including the case number given above and the names of the parties, must be filed if you want the Court to hear your side of the case. If you do not file your response on time, you may lose the case, and your wages, money, and property may thereafter be taken without further warning from the Court.”
Question: Is there an official document I need to submit to the Court, or can a certified letter suffice? Also, can the letter simply request additional time (e.g., 60 days) to find a qualified attorney to represent my interests? If available, please respond with sample letters. Thanks.

Bank Owned Home Question!! Please Help!!?
Can a bank change the status of a home to inactive? The current listing agent said the only offer on the home is mine and the only offer she is currently working on. I don’t get what happened. Im currently in the counter stage with the bank. Has this ever happened to anybody else?
The home has been on the market for 255 days. Listing price was 299,900, I countered at 269,000. They countered back at 289,000 and I countered back at 285,000.
