Does the bank usually counter any of the offers or take the highest offer? Does it matter who has the highest down payment to them and who has the strongest loan and fico? My agent told me that the other two offers were from people with FHA loans and that my loan was the strongest was the strongest. I also have a feeling that my offer was the highest. Also does the bank continue taking offers and at what point do they stop taking offers and decide?
I’m tired of all these fake free but sign up now sites. Foreclosure searches must be free somewhere!
I should mention that I am a novice who is looking for a way to afford housing in a higher priced market. I specifically am interested in New York City.
I am currently looking to rent a home in the Tampa Bay or Spring Hill Florida areas. Foreclosures being so rampant right now, where can I go online to find out if the house is in trouble?
I have asked realtor agents directly and have been told the houses are fine only to find out in the newspaper or from neighbors the house is in foreclosure.
I tried Googling the addresses of houses I am interested in with no luck. Can anyone direct me to any other resources?
If I am renting a house in California (I’m not sure if the laws are different in other states) and the house is in foreclosure and the owner has not paid the mortgage for the last 6 months. What obligation do I have to pay the rent? According to the California Department of Fair employment and housing I need to continue to pay the owner but everything I see in the media and the small amount of information I have read online says I’m not obligated to pay. What does the law say?
I put an offer in on Wednesday- they countered the offer the same day. Yesterday I re-offered a price that was a tad over the middle of what my original offer was and what their counter offer was (we are taking about 7000 dollars here). I havent heard anything back and am going nuts. Whats taking so long?
Until the foreclosure is final, and there is a new person buying the house, your lease is not canceled.
